In advance: Make candy plaque. Tint candy: For combination colors used, combine Primary or Garden Candy Colors with White or Light Cocoa Candy Melts as follows: Violet with pink for violet, orange with yellow for gold giraffe, orange with Light Cocoa for light brown giraffe spots and hair. Tint 10 oz. each violet, brown, blue; 2 oz. each pink, orange, gray, yellow (lion), gold (giraffe); 1 oz. each black, light brown
Pipe candy into Noah?s Ark Cake Pan using cut parchment bags. Tap to settle after each addition then chill to set before adding colors that touch. Pipe dot eyes, lion?s mouth, giraffe?s spots, nose and hair. Pipe lion?s mane, elephant?s inner ears, toes. Pipe bodies. Pipe boat. Pipe orange and violet of rainbow. Pipe pink of rainbow. Pipe blue waves. Chill until completely set then unmold onto soft cloth. Attach dowel rod to back using melted candy; allow 4 in. to extend at bottom to insert into cake.
Also in advance: Cover base board with 24 oz. fondant tinted violet. Reserve excess fondant.
Bake and cool 2-layer cakes. Tint fondant: 72 oz. yellow, 36 oz. blue, 2 oz. each rose, green, orange; reserve 24 oz. white. Prepare and cover cakes with rolled fondant; reserve excess fondant. Prepare for Stacked Construction.
Roll out white 1/8 in. thick as needed. For center bands, cut 1 3/4 in. wide strips 30 in. and 42 in. long. Attach around cake sides using damp brush. Use patterns to cut small and large ovals; attach. Roll out reserved fondant colors 1/16 in. thick. Use cutters from set to cut 34 assorted animals; attach to bands, about 1/2 in. apart, using damp brush. Pipe tip 2 message on ovals. Pipe tip 5 bead borders. Insert candy plaque.
