Rated 5 out of 5 by from These little baby booties take the cake! You can use them on cupcakes, or also on a scored baby shower cake. I did this on a baby shower cake, and got rave reviews! People seem to like buttercream as opposed to a sugar mold piece on a cake. I would consider using a thicker icing, and I did let mine set for a little while before I piped the bows on them. They were very easy, and really say 'baby' on any cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is wounderful for baby showers. I have used the booties with Teddy Bear heads, and balloons on some sheet cakes. I also used a pastel color range for the booties and balloons. The pastel colors won me a third place at the Dixie Classic Fair in Winston Salem, NC. This Fair has competition from both North Carolina and Virginia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this technique. I did it on a sheet cake for a shower, that was going along with the pregnant belly cake. It was so fast and easy on each square, yet looked really cute. The little bows were a bit harder to make, but I didn't thin my frosting. I think that would have helped to make it flow easier, to make an easier bow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love decorations with icing as opposed to fondant. This is very easy and one a beginner can start with if having a shower for family or friends... could make a cupcake tree..and there are many creative ideas you could use to decorate a table and not have to be the pro in icing design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's all in the wrist! lol! When I was done with half a dozen I couldn't believe how easy it was! My sister-in -law actually made booties out of fondant for her cousin's cake and my job was the cuppies and these came up soo cute when everything was put together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These booties are easy to do, and have a huge impact when placed on a baby shower cake. Folks could not believe I had piped these onto the cake, and thought I had bought booties to place atop the cake. Very easy to do, and adorable too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from When I first looked up this technique and read the instructions I put it to work. I was able to decorate my nieces baby shower cupcakes without a problem. Needless to say she loved seeing all those cute little blue booties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made these exact same booties for a cake. They are quite adorable and fairly easy, but it does take a little practice to pipe vertically even for the best decorators. Definitely a design I would do again:)
