In advance: Prepare topper. Tape top hole of head globe closed. Tint fondant: 4 oz. light copper, 2 oz. red, 2 oz. yellow (add 1/8 teaspoon Gum-Tex), 1 oz. black; reserve 1 oz. white. Roll out fondant 1/8 in. thick unless specified. Cut 2 1/2 x 8 in. copper and red strips. Cover head globe with copper, body with red. Cut and remove V-neckline; replace with copper. Roll out black; cut a 1 x 7 in. strip; attach around body for shorts. Roll 5/8 in. diameter white balls; shape into shoes and attach. Roll two copper 1 in. balls; shape into 2 1/2 in. long arms and hands. Cut 1 1/4 x 3/4 in. long red strips and attach around arms for sleeves. Attach arms to body; use knife to shape fingers.
Roll a 1 in. diameter white soccer ball; draw spots with FoodWriter. Attach between hands (support until dry). Roll out white 1/16 in. thick; cut and attach thin white strips on sleeves and at V-neck. Roll out yellow 1/16 in. thick. Cut a 3 in. diameter circle; attach loosely for hair. Use knife to define hair-do; secure using damp brush. Shape and attach 2 in. long pigtails. Roll tiny ball eyes (flatten slightly), pupils and nose; attach. Draw smile. Let dry on waxed paper-covered board.
Bake and cool soccer ball and 1-layer round. Ice round cake green. Prepare for Stacked Construction. Outline soccer ball details with tip 3 lines. Cover with tip 16 stars. Pipe tip 18 pull-out star grass around both cakes. Pipe tip 6 name. Insert pillar; slide topper over pillar.
