These cute little critters are ready for a picnic! Fun to make with kids, these Ant Eaters Summer Treats are made using a simple cake pop recipe. Serve these fun little guys at your next picnic or BBQ, and display them on a half-cut watermelon for a fun presentation! ball mixture and chill following recipe
directions. Use 1 1/4 teaspoons of mixture to
make teardrop-shaped bottom section of
ant, 1 teaspoon to shape oval middle and
3/4 teaspoon to shape ball head. Chill.
Make legs. For each treat, cut six pieces
of spaghetti, 3/4 in. long. Insert spaghetti in
middle section, leaving 1/2 in. extended.
Place melted black candy in a parchment
bag. Cut a hole to the diameter of
spaghetti. Position bag over leg and insert
leg in opening. Pull bag away from leg to
coat. Repeat to coat all legs. Chill until firm,
3 to 5 minutes.
Attach eyes. Use melted black candy in
cut parchment bag to pipe dots on back of
candy eyeballs; attach to head. Chill until
firm, 3 to 5 minutes.
