Inventory & Forecasting – Demand Planner (Wal-Mart) – Corporate

The job in a nutshell is to collaborate with Sales Partners and Wal-Mart Replenishment to develop forecasts based on trends, statistics, and marketing analysis to support planning and acquisition of inventory. You will work in our forecasting system to develop and adjust forecasts by sku. Also, you will be responsible for monitoring forecast accuracy, store in-stock levels, and PO lead time performance for items in Wal-Mart Retail-Link. You will recommend forecast and seasonal profile changes with replenishment and plan for the demand in our internal system. Collaboration with procurement to fill Wal-Mart replenishment and promo orders is essential.

Product Management – Product Manager– Kitchen Storage – Wilton Housewares/Copco

Product Management – Product Manager – Specialty Food – Wilton Enterprises

Other responsibilities include: design and develop new products and lines extensions for strategic channels, based on category and marketplace analysis, and input from key sellers; manage the product development process from concept through introduction; introduce product on time and within budget; develop product design and specifications, working with internal and external resources, and develop financials to secure approval to proceed; prove out product concepts with Test Kitchen and Internal Product Team; set creative tone for packaging within specific channels of distribution and / or categories of product; initiate Creative Requests for Packaging Development and manage packaging process; develop timeline and product availability schedule, managing development to that schedule; develop and gather all pertinent product data for Product Fact Sheets; partner with Inventory Analysts and Planners to ensure accuracy of information and timing; develop annual product development budget and track expenditures vs. budget; review and maintain/enhance Pricing and Product Margin; review monthly sales results and maintain data for line review; review our annual publication (the Wilton Yearbook) routings and other sales collateral for product; work closely with PD manager of cake decorating accessories to ensure synergies between durable and consumable cake decorating categories; work closely with sellers to develop strategy for specific customer needs; deliver sales presentations to outline product features and benefits; work with Sellers in development of plan-o-grams and/or updates; conduct ongoing market research through: store visits; trade Publications; and following trends in cake decorating and cutting-edge design/packaging; increase existing vendor base by identifying and qualifying new vendors; develop and nurture existing vendor relationships; follow-up with vendors on all details and timelines, both domestic and overseas; inspect new product deliveries; follow through on any quality control issues with Quality Control & Inventory, escalating issues as appropriate; and collaborate with other food team members to maximize departmental opportunities and build sales. environment and competitors; leading brainstorm ideation meetings, as well as identifying the following: market needs/opportunities; target market (retail and end-user);
and launch and budgetary needs; working with artists to create product and merchandising concepts, further develop selected concepts and create a merchandising presentation;
working with artists/designers to develop the seasonal patterns the appropriate products will follow & delivering final pattern art; working with appropriate category directors
and product managers to determine piece counts, price & SRPs, and effectively communicate product needs, to ensure that product is "market right" before product is developed;
leading the packaging concept development by working with the creative services department and with the product line Product Managers to ensure an impactful and consistent
presentation for all SKUs and the line in total, including package layout and photography direction; exploring unique product packaging & merchandising solutions; assisting in
key account meeting preparation and presentation, including market information, retail surveys, and product samples as needed; high involvement in the merchandising associated
with Target, in conjunction with the sales manager; identifying new business initiatives outside of current Wilton Enterprises product categories; semi-annual Line Review
