Customer Service: EDI Coordinator

You will manage the set up and testing of new EDI trading partners and new transaction sets for existing customer, working in partnership with IT resources. You will also be responsible for researching and correcting all EDI errors when possible and communicate all issues to the Customer Service contacts and EDI Manager for resolution. Design: Senior Design Engineer Contract

International: International European Account Manager

Wilton Brands LLC a leading designer and marketer of cake decorating, housewares, and crafts has an immediate opportunity for an International European Account Manager. This position will be located in continental Europe, with the Netherlands being the preferred base of operations. Job Summary: You will be responsible for managing key international account sales, developing new business, maintaining, developing and expanding existing customer base for our Wilton business unit on an international basis for Wilton Brands Inc. This position will have extensive contact with international customers, prospects, sales reps and will work closely with the existing the International Sales Team. This position performs assignments requiring a broad, thorough comprehensive knowledge and understanding commodity management, business and supply line management, practices, theories, principles and disciplines. The individual will be proactive and capable of developing strategic direction of the commodity/product category and managing designated suppliers directly and through the Global Sourcing team. This position is responsible for managing supplier selection, assessments, negotiations, contract performance, supply base portfolio shaping, quality improvements, cost reductions and critical performance metrics. Develop strong commodity and supplier strategies that will yield cost savings/value to Wilton Brands. Key responsibilities include development and/or implementation of a short and long term strategy for paper, film and wax commodities/product categories. Duties and Responsibilities • Manages, coordinates and directs supply chain management activities through day-to-day tactical and long-term strategic activities for the assigned commodity/product category; including the establishment of strategic goals, plans, outlooks, objectives and metrics. • Working with cross functional team across the business unit including marketing, product management, engineering, design, operations and key management to develop strategic direction for the commodity/product category. • Develops industry/market trend analysis, competitive situations, commodity price trends, and supply/demand situations for assigned spend categories. • Identify and evaluate potential vendors. Facilitate vendor selection in conjunction with Product Development team. • Understand and incorporate business requirements for assigned spend categories into vendor relationships and business practices. • Evaluate and manage vendor performance to ensure productivity, timely deliveries, high service levels and adherence to quality specifications and all other business requirements. • Work with Inventory Group to ensure the supply is scheduled sufficiently to meet demand, and assist in inventory management. • Negotiate and facilitate approval for new vendor contracts and agreements. • Assist Non-Foods Sourcing Manager to develop policy, process and documentation to continuously improve performance. . • Meet and Exceed Cost Reduction plans, while reducing risk in the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of international sourcing is essential
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a business, supply chain or other related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience, experience of purchasing from Asia Pacific region is preferred.
  • Understanding of paper commodities preferred
  • Must be computer savvy with extensive MS Office experience.
  • Willing to take challenges, hardworking, self-motivated and dependable
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks
