A New Linear Perspective Cake is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from In my limited experience with cake decorating, simple is better and more elegant. This is true with all things. the difficulty level actually depends on the person trying to do the cake, I have taken some of the classes and probably would do alright doing the cake but someone that has just taken one class or none, might find the cake difficult. Although, anyone with an artistic vein could do the cake but would still need classes to learn the tools. The cake is very elegant and after watching many of the Challenge shows and the wedding cake competitions, this one would do well there also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is simple and elegant looking cake.I think White background, Lilac strips with dark purple flower will be giving more attractive look. This colure is very common. When I make this I would like to decorate a few dark purple roses in between lots of Baby Breath and English Ivy. White table cloth and lilac lace cloth around the cake will be nice too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This cake is beautiful. I could see it decorated for any season's wedding or anniversary. The only real challenge I can see would be in the spacing of the fondant strips and that could be easily remedied with a ruler which is in your tools list. I love the tone on tone look and this would be awesome in any colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very beautiful cake, you make it so easy by letting us buy the fondant made it would be a great center piece to any wedding, you could use so many other colors and anyone could do it. and by putting other flowers you would never get tired of do it because it could be differant every time you make it.
