Mini Baked Rainbow Doughnuts
These colourful baked ring doughnuts are great for kids
Ingredients - Doughnuts
225g plain flour
For the doughnuts.
In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, beaten egg, melted butter and extracts together and add this to the dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
Separate the batter into 6 different small bowls and colour in rainbow colours according to your design. There should be enough batter to make 6 doughnuts of each colour.
Using a teaspoon fill each of the doughnut cups around ¾ full with the batter. (Do not overfill otherwise the doughnuts won’t have holes!)
Place in the oven and bake for about 8 minutes, or until firm, and springy. Cool slightly.
Turn the doughnuts out and arrange on your cake stand or plate.
Repeat this process until all batter is used and you have 36 doughnuts.
For the Icing
Use a fork to drizzle the icing over the doughnuts, serve and enjoy!
