Crowned in Glory Princess Cake

Ingredients:

  • Favourite vanilla sponge recipe (2.4 kg  needed)
  • White Ready-to-Use Decorator Icing (960 g needed)
  • Color Right® Performance Colour System
  • White Sparkling Sugar
  • Gold Pearlized Sugar
  • White Nonpareils
  • White Sugar Pearls
  • Pink Sugar Pearls

Supplies:

  • Countless Celebrations Cake Tin Set
  • 25 cm x 40 cm Cooling Grid
  • Round Decorating Tip 3 (4 needed)
  • 22 cm Straight Palette Knife
  • Disposable Decorating Bags

Colours Tinted

Use Color Right base colors and QuickCountTM colour formulas to tint icing in the following shades:

  • Dark Pink:  120 g white icing + 20P
  • Light Pink:  120 g white icing + 5P + 1R
  • Teal:  120 g white icing + 2B + 1Y
  • Coral:  120 g white icing + 1R + 1O
  • Reserve remaining icing white.


 

   

Method

1. Pour batter into prepared tin

2. Trim corners of sponge using edge of tin insert or knife.

3. Using palette knife and white icing, ice cake smooth.

 

4. Gently press sprinkle mixture onto side of cake.

5. Use tinted icing to add crowns, names and other decorations to top of cake.
