Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would have given this set a 2 star, but since I adjusted them i have given them a 4 star. here is why:I too have had severe problems with the A, B P etc. what I have decided to do is remove the inner piece on these letters and numbers. you rolled your fondant etc. to what ever thickness you want, cut out the letter as a whole and then use the inner piece to cut out the hole. Works like a charm! The letters look amazing. I don't know why I didn't think about that earlier. I thought about that after the inner part of the D fell out while I was cleaning it. They were really easy to remove, most of them just popped off. Hope this helps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So very disappointed in the alphabet set. I knew they were tiny but did not realize how difficult it would be to get the fondant out of them. Cornstarch and shortening doesn't work for me and trying to get them out with anything small enough to push them out distorts the letters and leaves marks on them. I would get a refund but unfortunately my receipt went into the trash and so did the package. With it being Wilton I trusted my purchase. This is the second product from Wilton that was less than up to my satisfaction. I will say, however, that most of their products are well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought these yesterday at a store and knew how small they were, its what i wanted but after reading these reviews i was afraid i made a mistake. I found the best thing to use if they stick is a bread tie or twist tie. because they are flat they will fit in all crevices and push the dough out from the edge and not the middle where it damages it. Im glad i got them and will use them a lot im sure. they are time consuming though. I made a lot and scattered them on a two tier cake. I cut out at least 50, maybe more. it took a while but the cake was exactly what i wanted lol

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this set! I had no trouble with any of the letters or numbers except for the letter "P".. it seems to morph slighty when it comes out, i always seem to have to cut out about 5 "P" 's before i get a good one! I was very unsure about the product at first, as it seemed like it would leave an uneven mark where the metal meets on the outside of the cutter, but i decided to buy it anyways, as i could always return it if there was an issue. Well i can say i deffinitly wont be returning this! I love it, and its small size. Its great for cakes & cupcakes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I actually came to the website because I was having trouble getting my home-made modeling chocolate out of the letters (particularly the 'O' and 'R'). I found that making it thinner than I would normally use and making sure that the powdered sugar covered all the surfaces, not only made it come out easily, in some cases the letter didn't stay in the cutter. Hence the two suggestions in these reviews (rolling it thinner & carefully dusting with sugar) made all the difference. Thanks, everyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NON-STICK SOLUTION I make my own MM fondant, but i like to use much less p. sugar than normal cause i think it makes it easier to work with and forms better. the only problem with this is it is a little stickier than most and i couldn't get any of the letters - even the easy ones - out. dusting the top of the fondant doesn't help either. i have found that if i make a little mound of p. sugar and dip the cutter into it before i use it i no longer have any problems with any of the letters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought these today and used them on my granddaughters 6th Birthday cake. They were fun and easy to use....no sticking at all. I rolled out fondant then cut all the letters I needed then just lifted the excess fondant off in one piece....all that was left were the letters and they easily lifted off the matt with the small spatula that came in the fondant tool set. So happy with this purchase. I'm positive I will get a lot of use out of them. Worth every cent of the purchase price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm not a big fan. First of all, I think for being a Wilton product, and priced at $15+, they're made very sloppy in comparison to their competition (the lines aren't as clean) Also, I have problems with mine sticking to MMF. I've tried everything I can think of to keep the fondant from sticking inside-shortening, powdered sugar, cornstarch. I've even put the fondant in the fridge to harden up a bit first to see if that works, and no luck. Wish I could return them.
